Slavery/Civil Rights Presentation Info
Some reminders:
- That you receive a individual grade for this so they need to put their Initials or Name on every slide that you individually create. If the group doesn’t do this then I grade the entire project as a group score.
- The first slide should be a title slide with the topic, period and your names on it
- All the slides need to be combined together into one seamless presentation. And even though you had 1 part of the story to tell, ALL group members are responsible for knowing ALL of the presentation, So you not only need to complete the assignment you need to make sure each/all the group understands every aspect of the topic (not just their own)
- The requirement for 15 piece of Historic Information is a group requirement but it is the bare minimum that a group can do (really C/B- work). For a good grade I would expect to see much more than that if you really understand the topic.
- 3 primary sources docs are required for the project (1 per member). This is not the Bibliography requirement of 6 sources. The primary source requirement is so you can show me that you can find historic documents (not a picture) connected to your topic. When you find them you can take a screenshot of the document and put it in the presentation labeled as a primary source document and title of what it actually is.
- The minimum 6 source Bibliography needs to be on the last slide of the project and is a group requirement. So everyone in the presentation group needs to have their sources all on the same Bibliography
- Also due on Friday is an OPVL (this is the link to the new OPVL with no Content or Summary needed) for every source in your Bibliography that you used for information. You will need to place all completed OPVL onto 1 google doc to turn in when you come to class on Friday. This will be a assessment grade attached to the presentation grade, “Presentation OPVL” in Jupiter. Failure to do this will lower their Grade!!!!!! LATE OPVL's WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR A GRADE!!
- Finally, remember that research notes are part of a requirement for the project (just getting that skill set going for the future. You are to be turned in with the presentation. So remind them that they better be researching and taking notes as they go.

2. Jupiter Ed - submit your 1st response to the US History Final: Argumentative Response #1 assignment. Next submit your 2nd response to the US History Final: Argumentative Response #2 assignment. Both response must be submitted as a Juno Doc (that is the only formatted accepted by the assignment for turning in). You will need to copy your individual responses from your google doc (you used to create your response) and paste it into a Juno Doc for submission (we have been doing this all year for assessments).
